Job summary

Selwood Housing Society Limited in Trowbridge is seeking a motivated Finance Apprentice to join our finance team. You will gain hands-on experience across income processing, reconciliations, budgeting, invoice processing and general financial administration, while working towards a recognised qualification.

We support you to develop a career in finance with a friendly, collaborative team and opportunities for training through Wiltshire College and University Centre.

Qualifications

  • GCSE English and Maths required or equivalent.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proactive, accurate and reliable attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Income processing and postings to ledgers.
  • Assist with reconciliations and financial controls.
  • Assist budgeting and forecast support.
  • Process supplier invoices and mounting payable entries.
  • Help with general financial administration and reporting.

We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Finance Apprentice to join our Finance team. About the role

As a Finance Apprentice, you\'ll gain hands-on experience across a wide range of finance activities while working towards a recognised qualification. You\'ll support the team with tasks such as income processing, reconciliations, budgeting, invoice processing and financial administration, while gaining exposure to different areas of the finance function. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and build a strong foundation for a career in finance.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a wide range of people.
