Job summary

St Joseph Catholic Multi Academy Trust is inviting applications for an Apprentice Assistant Accountant. You will begin Level 3 AAT apprenticeship while gaining hands-on experience in financial administration within a school environment in Liverpool.

The role requires GCSEs, numeracy and literacy, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude. You will learn to process invoices, manage data in Excel, and support colleagues and stakeholders with accurate financial records.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at grade 4/C or above (or equivalent).
• Willingness to undertake Level 3 AAT Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organise and prioritise workload effectively.
• Good ICT skills and confidence using digital systems.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
