Job summary

BHJ UK Ltd in Beverley is offering an ambitious Finance Apprentice role designed to build a successful career in accountancy. You will gain hands-on experience, work with experienced colleagues and receive training and progression opportunities.

You will handle administrative finance tasks, assist with month-end processes, prepare forecasts, and communicate with stakeholders. The program runs for two years with a Monday–Friday 9am–5pm schedule and a FIRST INTUITION provider.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Able to prioritise workload and learn quickly.
• Keen to develop accountancy skills with hands-on practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administrative tasks in the Finance Department.
• Prepare and analyse internal management accounts.

What You'll Do

• The effective and efficient function of all administrative activity relating to the Finance Department
• Preparing and analysing internal management accounts, profitability and departmental expenditure
• Assisting with the preparation of month end and year end accounts
• Effectively communicating with stakeholders on financial matters to do with ledger control and accounts
• Prepare and update ongoing financial forecasts and budget models
