Job Description:

Our client is an award-winning large format graphics company based in London, specialising in the full solution from initial concept through to installation. They are currently looking for a Finance and Production Controller with a strong emphasis on the financial part of the business, including quote estimation and cost build-up to final invoice. The role can be performed remotely with 1-2 days minimum in the South West London office.

  • Utilise architectural drawings and/or historical data to generate accurate project estimates.
  • Collaborate with Directors to ensure estimates align with project requirements and budget constraints.
Communication Management (Approximately 10%):
  • Handle inbound office communication internally and externally.
  • Filter and prioritise communication between internal supply chain teams and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain clear communication channels to ensure project progress and issue resolution.
  • Provide weekly updates on expectations and priorities.
Project Management (Approximately 20%):
  • Manage smaller ad hoc graphic requirements for stakeholders, ensuring quality and timeliness.
  • Track timelines and deliverables to ensure milestones are met.
  • Maintain adequate materials for the operations team.
  • Generate risk assessments and method statements before on-site projects.
  • Occasionally attend external installation sites to build relationships.
  • Oversee submission of Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQ) for tender eligibility.
  • Coordinate with departments to gather necessary documentation.
  • Maintain and update company qualifications, certifications, and compliance documents.
Research and Innovation (Approximately 5%):
  • Research new projects to add value for clients.
  • Identify opportunities for innovative or sustainable materials, with Director approval.
  • Gather visual content for external marketing.
Content Quality and Brand Alignment:
  • Ensure visuals and text meet quality standards for digital and print media.
  • Align all content with branding guidelines, including colours, fonts, and logos.
  • Source or create original graphics that are unique and relevant to campaigns.
Financial Oversight (Approximately 25%):
  • Finalize project costs monthly for review and approval.
  • Monitor budgets, expenses, and resource allocations.
  • Respond to cost queries from surveyors in coordination with Directors.
