Job description

Our client, who are a small family run business, have an exciting new position for an experienced Finance and Office Manager to join their team on a full time, permanent basis in Stroud.

You will be responsible for supporting the Managing Director in owning the successful operational and finance administration of the business. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently and carry out tasks to its completion as instructed.
As you will be working closely with senior management you will be adaptable to the demands of the business and have a flexible approach to change and prioritisation.

Responsibilities:
-Creating daily movement records, allocating costs and raising sales invoices
-Generating monthly sales invoices, ensuring current units on and off hired
-Issue an analysis of the monthly billing
-Produce lease, rental agreements and appendices to both
-Calculate monthly expenditure at least three months in advance
-Prepare various finance summaries
-Daily bank reconciliation
-Responsible for credit control and timely payment to suppliers
-Quarterly fillings where necessary
-Periodic management accounts
-Coordinating with Accountants on yearly accounts & filings
-Liaising with customers, suppliers and other companies in relation to general duties

Candidate Attributes:
-Excellent verbal and written skills
-Able work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude
-Strong communication skills to confidently communicate with customers and suppliers
-Able to produce high quality reports containing comprehensive and accurate information
-Computer literate (MS Office, Access, Word, Excel and Outlook)

Hours: Monday – Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm

Salary: Up to £32,000 depending on experience + free onsite parking
