Job Title: Finance & Commercial Manager

Responsibilities
- Finance & Commercial: Manage and ensure profitability of the business unit. Advise management by identifying financial and operational risks and providing insights on areas of concern. Recommend effective resource utilization strategies. Negotiate financial terms and conditions with business associates and distributors. Perform quarterly customer account reconciliations and balance confirmations. Drive cost control initiatives and profit improvement projects. Manage claims processing and pricing structures.
- Budgeting & MIS: Prepare, present, and control the annual budget. Monitor business performance against budget and recommend timely corrective actions. Support pricing decisions to protect margins, including calculating distributor ROI and participating in distributor margin strategies. Create and monitor secondary sales and stock MIS by customer and SKU.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, IFRS, and other regulatory frameworks. Maintain proper records in accordance with statutory requirements. Ensure all transactions adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Delegation of Authority (DOA). Provide risk mitigation advice to management as needed.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Ensure timely availability of finished goods in line with the sales plan across various SKUs. Coordinate with international supply chain teams for timely order fulfillment. Liaise with production to meet sales dispatch requirements. Communicate changes in dispatch plans to all relevant departments. Provide demand-based planning inputs. Ensure proper documentation and timely clearance of containers at customer sites.
- Other Responsibilities: Lead the implementation of new systems and processes. Manage salary processing and payroll tax return filings.
- Audit & Taxation: Ensure compliance with internal, external, and process audits. Review audit findings and oversee corrective action implementation. Liaise with tax authorities for state and federal compliance matters. Handle credit control, credit insurance, and customer collections. Ensure timely tax compliance, overhead bookings, and scrutiny.
