Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor's degree program with a predicted 2:1 degree or international equivalent.
• Graduation date between June - September 2028.
• Interest in American Express and the payments industry, including the Closed-Loop Model and Blue Box Values.
• Ability to see the bigger picture and influence senior leadership through collaboration.
• Analytical ability to form hypotheses, analyze large datasets, and draw actionable insights.
• Ability to prompt effectively with AI tools for financial analyses and reporting.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; willingness to learn and code in SQL for data analyses.
• Strong presentation skills to explain data stories to diverse audiences.
• Soft skills to build relationships across teams and network effectively

Responsibilities

• Join a Finance team and contribute to strategic decision-making.
• Own a business-critical project with real-world impact.
• Analyze P&L metrics like Billings, Revenue and Expenses to uncover insights.
• Leverage generative AI to boost productivity and insights.
• Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to develop recommendations.
• Build and present a compelling data story to senior leaders.
• Present findings to senior Finance leadership at program end.
