DHL, an award-winning, leading supply chain business is seeking a Finance Analyst to play a vital role within our Finance function, performing all accounting processes for their respective operation.

Our team of Finance specialists do so much more than crunch numbers. They add value to our business by truly understanding our data and helping our teams make informed, commercial decisions.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing all accounting processes in scope for your site / customer / function, such as month-end, reconciliations, fixed assets accounting, while ensuring to meet all KPI requirements
  • Getting to know your customer / site inside out. Acting as a trusted advisor and providing expert knowledge to help facilitate decision-making
  • Adherence to finance processes and accurate, timely report production
  • Providing regular updates to the Reporting Manager on process completion, issue resolution and highlighting any escalations
  • Identifying any opportunities for continuous improvement

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

  • Strong financial and analytical skills
  • Customer-facing experience
  • Knowledge of financial compliance and reporting requirements
  • Experience in accounting in a logistics or similar industry – desirable
