Job Description

We are looking for a Finance Analyst – Projects & Reporting to join our dynamic Commercial Finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is working towards a recognised accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA) and wants to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, reporting, and project work. Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting financial planning, driving change projects, and producing insightful reports to aid decision-making. Working closely with finance leaders and operational teams, you will help ensure accurate reporting, financial governance, and process improvements.

As Finance Analyst - Projects and Reporting, you’ll be:
  1. Assisting in the preparation of monthly reports, including variance analysis and performance insights.
  2. Developing and maintaining financial reporting packs to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  3. Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure accurate reporting.
  4. Providing analytical and reporting support to the annual pricing process.
  5. Supporting forecasting and budgeting processes, highlighting potential risks and opportunities.
  6. Improving financial reporting processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  7. Ensuring compliance with financial policies, contracts, and internal controls.
  8. Supporting business projects and process improvements through financial analysis.
As Finance Analyst - Projects and Reporting, you’ll have:
  1. Part-qualified in a recognised accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with a commitment to completing qualification.
  2. Experience in financial analysis, reporting, or management accounting, ideally within the facilities management or services industry.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  4. Proficient in Excel (experience with financial systems is an advantage).
  5. Great communication skills – able to explain financial data to non-finance colleagues.
  6. A proactive mindset – able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
