Finance Analyst – Fuel

Join our Fuel Strategy team as a pivotal member, reporting to the Senior Manager – Fuel Strategy and ESG. Your role involves providing analytical support for fuel costs, aligning with the broader Tax and Fuel Team objectives. You will facilitate communication across Finance, Operations, and Commercial teams, supporting fuel strategy development, analyzing cost drivers, contributing to budgeting and forecasting, evaluating business cases, and leading fuel efficiency projects. Your insights will shape fuel initiatives and sustainability goals. What you need to do the role
We seek a qualified accountant with experience in handling large, dynamic entities. The ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical skills, conducting variance analysis and identifying key drivers. You should confidently provide insights to support procurement and ground operations, communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, and articulate the value of finance projects. A proactive team player who can work autonomously, offering innovative solutions, is essential. We value self-starters with high motivation, enthusiasm, advanced Excel skills (including macros), and preferably TM1 experience.
This full-time role is based in Luton, with 40 hours per week. We support hybrid working, with three days in the office.
