About the role

Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join CPS in Leatherhead/South Mimms.

Role Purpose:

We’re looking for a driven and analytical Finance Analyst to join our team. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality reporting, supporting transformation projects, and providing valuable insights to stakeholders across the business.

What you'll be doing

  1. Build and maintain insightful Power BI dashboards and reports
  2. Partner with Finance Business Partners (FBPs) to streamline and improve reporting processes
  3. Support transformation and continuous improvement projects across the finance function
  4. Prepare and maintain monthly results packs for internal stakeholders
  5. Act as finance lead for Enabling Functions, providing analysis and support
  6. Assist in the preparation and maintenance of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
  7. Own and enhance cash reporting and related forecasting activities
  8. Support plant reporting, working with operational teams to analyse performance
  9. Provide support for ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests

Who we're looking for

  • 0–1 year post-qualification experience (CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent)
  • Solid experience with Power BI, Power Query, and advanced Excel skills
  • Analytical thinker with attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams
