Appleyard Lees IP LLP is seeking a hands-on Finance Analyst to join our Finance team in Halifax or Manchester. You’ll combine systems problem-solving with accurate reporting and core accounting, keeping billing running smoothly and providing clear, reliable management information.

In a typical week you’ll reconcile banking and WIP data, produce regular reports for the Finance Director, support month-end close, and help automate processes.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years’ relevant finance experience.
• Strong Excel skills with large data sets.
• Experience with WIP, billing, debtors and revenue.
• Comfortable investigating system/data issues.
• Able to produce and present financial reports.
• Experience with month-end procedures and reconciliations.
• Confident communicating with non-finance colleagues.

Responsabilités

• Billing and systems support: resolve billing queries and system/data issues, improving processes.
• Reporting and analysis: produce regular WIP, debtor, revenue and billing reports; support budgeting and management information.
• Accounting and month end: carry out bank and balance sheet reconciliations; assist with month end journals and records.
• Projects and improvement: support finance projects and system/process changes to automate reporting and controls.
