Job summary

MorePeople is partnering with a leading food manufacturing business to recruit a Business Finance Analyst in Wigan. You will support Commercial and Transport functions, drive business partnering, and develop your CIMA/ACCA qualifications while contributing to forecasting and performance analysis.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified CIMA or ACCA pursuing qualification.
• Previous experience in a Finance Analyst role.
• Experience in manufacturing/FMCG/logistics advantageous.
• Strong understanding of accruals and prepayments.
• Excellent analytical, data interpretation and communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and proactive approach.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Commercial, Marketing and Transport teams to understand financial performance.
• Manage overheads for Commercial and Marketing and support Transport P&L.
• Produce weekly and monthly reports on sales, margin and performance.
• Investigate variances against budget, forecast and prior year.
• Support forecasting, rolling forecasts, year-end estimates and budgets.
• Assist with audits and promote best practice across sites.
• Provide wider support to the Finance team as required.
