As a Data Analyst Accounts Payable, you will immerse yourself in the world of transactional finance where your expertise will help shape the future of accounts payable operations. Your day-to-day activities will involve analysing large volumes of financial data to identify patterns and inefficiencies that can be addressed through innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Transform accounts payable data into actionable insights by developing dashboards, reports, and key metrics such as days payable outstanding, invoice cycle time, and payment accuracy.
• Collaborate closely with accounts payable, transactional shared services, and wider finance teams to resolve discrepancies and enhance workflow efficiency through open communication and teamwork.
• Support the month-end close process by preparing reconciliations and delivering timely reporting that ensures accuracy and transparency.
• Identify duplicate payments, vendor issues, and compliance exceptions early on to prevent potential problems and maintain robust financial controls.
• Engage actively in automation and optimisation initiatives aimed at streamlining processes and improving overall operational effectiveness.
• Maintain up-to-date vendor master data that is always audit-ready, ensuring compliance with internal controls and external regulations.

Qualifications
