Finance Analyst-1

Join CAE’s Civil Aviation Training team as Spanish speaking Finance Analyst at our Flight Training Centre in Gatwick, West Sussex or alternatively Burgess Hill, West Sussex.

The role we are offering you

As a member of the Europe & Africa regional financial reporting and accounting team, you are responsible for providing complete and accurate external and internal financial reports for the region, managing banking transactions, expense claims, and balance sheets.

While tasks will be delegated based on training centre, country, or business segment, the team shares overall responsibility for region management.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Overall administration of bank accounts
• Completing bank reconciliations and related journal entries
• Managing non-AP bank transactions
• Administering bank mandates with banks and CAE Treasury
• Participating in cash flow forecasts
• Managing expense claim processes and related journal entries
• Overseeing credit card issuance and expense systems (e.g., Concur)
• Ensuring expense claims comply with policies
• Handling prepayment accounts, fixed assets, revenue, inter-company confirmations, VAT returns, and statutory accounts
• Providing timely reports to management and business partners

Candidate Profile

• Studying towards an accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA, ACA)
• Understanding financial accounting to trial balance
• Advanced VAT knowledge
• Experience working with multiple foreign currencies
• Proficiency with ERP, databases, spreadsheets, and word processing
• Fluent in English; Spanish is desirable

Location & Contract

The role is based at our modern Training Centre in Crawley/Gatwick with hybrid work (2 days on-site, 3 days remote). It is a permanent position, Monday to Friday, 39 hours/week.
