About Our Client:
Our client, a well-established company in the financial sector, is seeking a Finance Analyst with expertise in financial analysis and management accounts. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional to play a key role in supporting business strategy through data-driven insights and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and review management accounts, ensuring accurate financial reporting and insightful analysis.
  2. Conduct variance analysis, identifying trends and areas for cost optimisation.
  3. Assist in the month-end and year-end closing process, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  4. Develop and refine financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making.
  5. Work closely with senior management to provide financial analysis and recommendations for business growth.
  6. Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs), highlighting areas for improvement.
  7. Assist in the preparation of financial reports, ensuring clarity and accuracy for stakeholders.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial planning and control processes.
  9. Support the implementation of cost control initiatives, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
  10. Provide financial insights to support the evaluation of new business opportunities and investments.

Skills & Requirements:

  1. Fully or part-qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or equivalent experience.
  2. Strong background in financial analysis, management accounts, and reporting.
  3. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  4. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  5. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial insights to stakeholders.
  6. A proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  7. Experience in financial services or a similar industry is highly desirable.
