Lusona Consultancy are currently recruiting for a ‘Finance Analyst’ to join a growing finance team based in Renfrewshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified or newly qualified accountant with a passion for partnering with operational and commercial teams, offering broad exposure across the business.

Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role within the team where responsibilities include:

  • Supporting cost control and analysing key operational KPIs (e.g. productivity, cost per unit, scrap rates)
  • Evaluating operational efficiency projects and tracking benefit realisation
  • Analysing sales, revenue, and margins across customers and sectors
  • Preparing forecasts and commercial models
  • Supporting month-end close and preparing balance sheet reconciliations
  • Contributing to board reporting and forecasting cycles
  • Enhancing data accuracy and improving reporting processes

About You:

  • Part-qualified or newly qualified (ICAS, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
  • Applicants will ideally come from an FP&A, or commercial/operational finance role, however, we are open to backgrounds from Accountancy Practice and Financial Services looking for their first move to industry.
  • Strong Excel skills and a flair for financial modelling
  • Desirable but not essential to have experience with Power BI or Microsoft Dynamics
  • Confidence in communicating financial information to non-finance teams
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to thrive under pressure
