Job Title: Finance Analyst
Reporting To: UKI Head of Business Control

Location: Newcastle
Overall, Purpose:
The Finance Analyst role is a key member of the UKI Hubexo Business Control team, supporting the Head of Finance in their Business partnering function. You will prepare weekly and monthly reports, ensure data accuracy, and assist in the preparation of Commercial Reviews, Forecasts, and Budgets. Additionally, you will serve as a primary contact for the business, providing ad-hoc information and insights.
Principal Job Responsibilities:
- Management reporting - Produce timely and accurate trading updates, monthly Business Review packs, and Business KPIs
- Calculate monthly commissions for accruals and prepare for reviews with VPs
- Assist in Budget and Forecast preparation
- Conduct monthly P&L and Balance Sheet reviews, ensuring accuracy and rigor
- Maintain the commercial and finance retention trackers
- Respond to and communicate with business stakeholders on routine finance queries
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and assist the Head of Finance as needed
Qualifications & Experience:
- Demonstrable experience in a similar analyst role
- Experience in a B2B services company, ideally with a SaaS business model, but not essential
- Experience working with a wide range of business stakeholders
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Started an accounting qualification and passed foundation exams
- NetSuite experience preferred but not essential

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards, with the ability to interpret profit and loss statements
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret financial data to support decision-making
- Attention to detail, with the ability to spot trends, patterns, errors, and self-check
- Variance analysis skills to compare actual results to budgets and identify root causes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based CRM & ERP systems
