Your key Responsibilities
We’re looking for a driven, collaborative and forward thinking person to join our European advertising team. In this role, you will be the finance partner and trusted adviser to our advertising sales team, ensuring that the drivers of performance are well understood, and providing your business partners with actionable insights. Your role will also involve close collaboration with accounts receivable and credit risk teams.
Month-End Closing and Reporting: Own month-end closing, billing, and reporting processes. Identify and highlight business interventions as needed to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Collaboration and Reconciliation: Work with finance teams to ensure successful month-end reconciliation and billing processes, maintaining strong client relationships and resolving billing queries promptly.
Client Relations and Query Resolution: Manage client relationships and resolve billing queries promptly.
End-to-End Workflow Management: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the full workflow—from client setup to campaign billing is complete, customer-centric, and robust
Revenue and Financial Reporting: Assist internal teams in accurate and timely reporting of revenue generation, credit, billing, and cash collection.
Data Accuracy and Record Maintenance: Ensure data accuracy across multiple datasets. Maintain complete, accurate, and readily available records and reports for credit risk data, including customer profiles, credit limits, and exposure levels.
Reporting and Analysis: Build and maintain key reporting metrics that drive business performance ensuring timely and accurate forecasts and metrics are consistently updated on credit and billing (e.g., credit requests, utilization, exposure, trends).
Continuous Process Improvement: Simplify, improve, and scale existing processes and tools to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Actively participate in cross-departmental project teams.
Ad Hoc Reporting and Analysis
What we need for this role
To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
Attention to detail, ability to multitask and strong social skills required.
Must be task driven & have the ability to produce and hit key deliverable deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Advanced Excel skills are required, including a deep understanding of formulas, macros, pivot tables.
Experience working with Salesforce,Operative.One, SAP - a plus
SQL skills or experience working with statistical analysis/tools
Familiarity with media, TV measurement
Strong written and verbal communication skills
What does success look like?
Experience evaluating, analysing and crafting significant business reporting
Ability to develop strategic relationships with your finance and business partners. You can root cause issues quickly and uncover core issues using data, then assist, consult with, and guide the teams how decisions affect efficiency, scalability, costs and build new mechanisms as they are needed
Ability to take care of ambiguity & provide guidance during unexpected events
