As Finance Analyst reporting into the Commercial Finance Lead for a food manufacturing business, you'll provide finance business partnering.
My client has a proud history of developing food for their customers, which is enjoyed in millions of homes every year. Their portfolio includes a fabulous range of products and well-known famous brands which are available in all of the country's supermarkets.
This role will suit a graduate with one to two years' experience in a finance role within the food industry who is looking for study support with their Chartered Institute of Management Accountants qualifications.
As Finance Analyst, you'll be part of a small team that supports the delivery of business objectives by providing key commercial management information, insight, and analysis.
You'll identify key insights using trend analysis and variance reports, partner with Account Managers to establish action plans to address issues. You'll review sales performance, establish key variances vs comparatives, and be able to verbally summarise performance to stakeholders whilst maintaining and developing strong working relationships with cross-functional teams.
To qualify for this role, you'll need an accounting degree or equivalent, experience of analysing and interpreting data, along with planning and prioritising workloads. You will also be competent in Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word with experience within the UK food manufacturing sector.
This is an office-based role with one to two days working from home.
