We are looking for a Finance Analyst for our client, a hugely successful group of companies in Cheshire.

In this role, you will work closely with the Commercial Finance team, providing high-quality financial insights and promoting Commercial Finance as a proactive, efficient, and professional function that enables business growth.

Your key responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Deliver accurate reporting and analysis to support business decisions.
  • Work with stakeholders at all levels, providing variance analysis and feedback on financial performance.
  • Develop and automate spreadsheets and reports for improved efficiency.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process on a monthly and annual basis.
  • Drive continuous improvement across financial processes and reporting.

What You'll Bring:

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
  • Experience in management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • A proactive mindset and a drive to improve financial processes.
  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA preferred) or close to qualification with relevant experience in distribution, retail, supply chain or manufacturing.
