Job summary

Michael Page International Recruitment Limited is seeking a graduate or part-qualified accountant to build a career in FP&A within a growing Group finance function. The role covers budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and business performance analysis, with study support and exposure to senior stakeholders.

You will contribute to strategic reporting and process improvement initiatives, leveraging Power BI and reporting systems to drive data quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related discipline.
• Studying towards or intending to study ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
• Strong Excel skills and data analysis capability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management reports, variance analysis, and performance commentary.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Maintain and develop reporting, cash flow, and forecasting models.
• Analyse sales pipeline, revenue trends, and business performance metrics.
• Produce reporting for senior leadership, investors, and lenders.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and data quality initiatives.

Profile

• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial information clearly.
• Proactive, eager to learn, and interested in understanding the commercial drivers behind business performance.
