Our Finance team has a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Administrator in Salford.

Our role

Provide accounting support to the Management Accounts function to ensure accurate and robust financial reports for the Electricity North West Group. Deliver excellent transactional management accounting and standardized reporting. Support the financial control structure of the Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Post business journals and perform reconciliations into SAP/Corporate reporting system during month-end; support regulatory reporting as needed.
  • Prepare monthly control account reconciliations.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical accounting knowledge, assess and implement new standards and legislation to ensure compliant external reporting.
  • Support purchase requisition creation and Goods Receipting for the Finance directorate.
  • Assist with ad-hoc support for the group finance function.
  • Prepare monthly control accounts for the Group.
  • Investigate areas of uncertainty or concern as needed.
