Finance Administrator - Starting Immediately!, London

Location: Central London, Chancery Lane

Remuneration: £33,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications

Contract Details: Maternity Leave Fixed Term Contract for 12 - 14 months

Working Pattern: Full Time, Hybrid Working

Are you a Finance Assistant with a knack for numbers and a passion for organisation? Our client, a well-established company in the Accountancy industry, is seeking a skilled Finance Assistant to join their team. If you are a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in bookkeeping and administration, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive support to the Practice and Finance Manager, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day tasks.
  • Handle general bookkeeping, including processing invoices, reconciling bank statements, and managing client accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly VAT returns and monthly management reports.
  • Maintain the Central Software system, creating and updating client and employee records, processing timesheets, and generating reports.
  • Conduct fee protection service administration as required.
  • Cover reception duties, answering calls, handling correspondence, and managing administrative tasks.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working within a professional services environment.
  • Ongoing studies or qualification in AAT.
  • Significant experience as a bookkeeper or Finance Assistant.

This is a 12-month maternity cover position, starting from December 2024, ending in December 2025. The successful candidate must be available immediately and willing to work a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.
