We are: looking for a Finance Administrator to join our busy Research and Engagement team.
You will be: responsible for delivering key financial support within the Research and Engagement team. This will include raising contracts and processing payments in line with institutional procedures, monitoring and maintaining accurate records of divisional budgets, and assisting with the preparation of mid-term and end-of-term financial statements for a range of funded projects and grants. You will work closely with colleagues across the Conservatoire and external partners to ensure effective financial administration and compliance with funding requirements.
You will have: proven experience in finance administration, ideally within a research or project funding context, along with an understanding of the financial management of research grants and funded projects. You will be confident handling large volumes of data with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, and comfortable working in a busy office environment. You will also have excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, and work autonomously using your own initiative. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to handle confidential information with discretion and to engage effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels, both within the institution and externally.
