Job summary

TipTopJob is recruiting a Finance Administrator on a maternity cover basis in York. The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with a salary of £29,000 per annum plus up to £1,000 annual bonus.

Commences on-site, Monday to Friday, with flexible start/finish times and no weekend work, until 30 September 2027. The role involves day-to-day finance administration, dealing with customer and internal processes, and working with the finance team to ensure accuracy and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Previous finance administration experience.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative support across the finance function.
• Handle customer and internal finance processes accurately.
• Answer calls and manage the finance mailbox with timely responses.
• Review invoices and payments and ensure correct accounting.
• Support the finance team to ensure smooth customer journeys.
