Job summary

Autohorn Fleet Services is seeking a Finance Administrator on a maternity cover contract to support the finance team in Clifton Moor, York. The role offers a 37.5-hour week, Monday to Friday, site-based with no hybrid working, and a salary of £29,000 per annum plus up to £1,000 annual bonus.

You will manage day-to-day finance admin tasks, handle customer queries, process invoices and payments, and ensure accurate documentation and timely settlements.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance team or finance administration role.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload.
• Good Microsoft Office skills.
• Positive and proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls from customers, dealing with finance-related queries or directing them to the appropriate department.
• Manage the finance mailbox, ensuring customer queries receive timely and appropriate responses.
• Review and process sundry invoices and payments due from customers, ensuring monies are collected accurately and on time.
• Review final approvals before vehicles leave site, ensuring all documentation is correct and required payments have been collected.
• Manage the customer refund process following the return of vehicles.
• Work closely with other members of the finance team to support the accurate and timely management of the customer journey and internal processes.
• Manage daily file uploads and imports between different systems as required.
• Work within Sage to ensure customer accounts are kept up to date and payments are allocated correctly.
