Job summary

Charles River Laboratories are seeking a European Banking Administrator to join our European Treasury team in Edinburgh on a 6 month contract. The role is hybrid, onsite 1-2 days a week, supporting UK and other European regions.

Key duties include reviewing bank balance checks, processing payments for compliance, managing the mailbox, facilitating multi-currency transfers, and assisting with month-end statements and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Review bank balance checks throughout the day
• Review payments processing for compliance checks
• Manage mailbox
• Facilitate multi-currency banking payments including transfer of funds between entities
• Ensure payments are all approved and ready for processing with bank
• Check all banking daily feeds have arrived and processed
• Track bank transaction as required by the business
• Manage weekly bank tracker
• Manage company Direct debits
• Assist Manager with bank signer changes and tracking these
• Interact with CRL main bank - Citibank - and business stakeholders on day-to-day queries
• Assist with bank reconciliations as required
• Run Month end statements

Job Overview

Charles River Laboratories are recruiting a European Banking Administrator to join our European Treasury team based in Edinburgh on a 6 month contract. This is a hybrid role, with expectation to be onsite 1-2 days a week.
The team supports several key regions across Europe including UK, Ireland, Germany, Netherlands, France. The role offers a platform to join a dynamic and fast paced organization. Treasury Operations is a key component in our operational model that administers CRL cash for all European Companies in Charles River and will sit alongside several specialist subject matter experts; Accounting, VAT, Corporation Tax, Controls, and Projects. EASST continues to grow and develop as a valued partner to the business as the strategic plan is implemented.

Job Description

The following are duties and responsibilities related to the European Banking Administrator position:

• Review bank balance checks throughout the day
