We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Administrator to join our fantastic central team at Prospere Learning Trust.
This is a Grade 5, permanent post working 35 hours per week, all year round, the starting salary is £28,163.
We’re looking for:
An experienced Finance Administrator with experience of carrying out core transactional finance activities in both purchase and sales ledger. You will need to have high proficiency in all Microsoft applications particularly excel and demonstrate a collaborative approach focused on improvement and supporting the vision, values and objectives of the Trust.
You must be able to demonstrate accuracy and precision when preparing, maintaining and monitoring financial data. You will also need to have excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple competing activities. Previous experience working in a school or education setting would be highly desirable.
Main purpose of the job:
You will be part of the central finance team, working closely with the Finance Manager and Senior Finance Officer. You will be responsible for finance transactional processing in line with the Trust financial regulations and procedures, ensuring accuracy, compliance and best practice.
