Job summary

Office Angels is seeking a Finance Administrator in the United Kingdom to own procurement processes, reconcile bank and supplier ledgers, and manage key administration tasks. The role supports accounts payable/receivable, donor revenue, and governance documentation while maintaining accurate records and timely responses to inquiries.

The ideal candidate will have prior finance administration experience, proficiency with systems like Workday/Sage/Xero, and strong Excel and organizational skills

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a finance, accounts, or finance administration role.
  • Experience using financial systems such as Workday, Sage or Xero.
  • Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliation processes.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Own the procurement process, ensuring purchasing procedures are followed and records are maintained.
  • Monitor outstanding purchase orders and invoices, following up with colleagues and suppliers where required.
  • Maintain accurate supplier records and supporting documentation.
  • Manage company credit card reconciliations, including receipt collection, transaction coding and record keeping.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, ensuring transactions are accurately matched and coded within the finance system.
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable, including raising customer invoices, processing supplier invoices & payments and assisting with credit control.
  • Reconcile donations, event income, grant funding and other fundraising receipts with fundraising colleagues.
  • Coordinate the Foundation inbox, ensuring enquiries are responded to or directed to the appropriate colleague.
  • Coordinate office administration activities, maintaining an organised, professional and efficient working environment.
  • Support charity administration activities, including maintaining organisational records and governance documentation.

Join Our Team as a Finance Administrator!

What You'll Do:
  • Own the procurement process, ensuring purchasing procedures are followed and records are maintained.

  • Work closely with fundraising colleagues to reconcile and accurately record donations, event income, grant funding and other fundraising receipts.
  • Manage the Foundation inbox, ensuring enquiries are responded to or directed to the appropriate colleague in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate office administration activities, helping to maintain an organised, professional and efficient working environment.
  • Support charity administration activities, including maintaining organisational records, registers and key governance documentation.
What We're Looking For:
  • Previous experience in a finance, accounts, or finance administration role.
  • Experience using financial systems, such as Workday, Sage, Xero, or similar accounting platforms.
  • Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and handle confidential information appropriately.
