The role:

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Finance Administrator to support the effective financial operations of Wilden View school.

This role is a vital part of the administration team and plays an essential part in enabling high-quality teaching and learning. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day financial administration on site, including purchase ordering, goods receipting, and the management and reconciliation of petty cash, debit, and credit card transactions. They will also provide general finance support and work closely with the Central Finance team to ensure accuracy, compliance, and smooth financial processes throughout the school.

Skills and Qualifications

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Preferable experience of a similar role in an Education setting
  • Preferable entry-level finance qualification (AAT or similar)
  • Level 2 Mathematics and English as a minimum (GCSE – C Grade)
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to use a variety of software packages
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain financial information clearly
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook Email/Diary)
  • Excellent team working skills
  • Able to work accurately with strong attention to detail and work to strict deadlines with excellent numerical skills
