A local Charity in Holywood is looking for a Financial Administrator to manage daily financial tasks, including processing invoices, reconciling statements, and maintaining accurate records. The role requires a minimum of 12 months experience in an account's role and offers a starting salary of £25,681.50, along with benefits and a 37.5-hour workweek.

Financial Administrator - Holywood

Reed Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with a local Charity based in Holywood.

Our client has an exciting new vacancy for an experienced Finance Administrator to join their support Finance Function.

The successful applicant will be responsible for completing the following daily duties:

  • Processing all invoices received by the organization in a timely manner. And using the automated Purchases system
  • Reconcile supplier statements when received.
  • Ensure that expenditure is coded accurately.
  • Process bi-monthly payment runs.
  • Dealing with all queries via email, phone etc.
  • Process cash requests from the community.
  • Ensure accurate accounting records and systems are maintained, with an appropriate level of information to facilitate review, investigation and explanation of variances to budget.
  • Ensure that all expenditure is incurred in line with automated financial authorisation procedures.
  • Ensure all liabilities are settled within the appropriate timeframe.
  • Check and maintain group email daily

Essential Criteria

  • 5 GCSEs Grades C and above including Math's and English
  • A minimum of 12 months experience gained within an account's role
  • IT proficient

Benefits:

  • Starting salary of £25,681.50
  • 37.5 hour working week, Monday- Friday 9am-5pm
