Finance and Family Office Administrator

The Client:

A family office attached to a highly successful international business in the West End.

The Role:

A busy and varied Finance and Family Office Administrator position which will involved providing various administrative support to an UHNWI and the wider family office. Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Monitoring budgets for the family office and household
  • Processing invoices (household, travel and business)
  • Checking and negotiating key contracts, including for key household services and staff as well as home / health insurance and other private matters
  • Renewing subscriptions
  • Regular and proactive communication with the Principal and wider family
  • Tracking ongoing projects relating to property portfolio using Excel
  • Ensuring invoices are paid on time, tracking payment deadlines.

Ad-hoc Family Office Administrator duties:

  • General administration for the individual and family office
  • Supporting with recruitment for the family office and household
  • Supporting with ad-hoc projects for the family / individual.

There is real opportunity to make this role your own, and scope for the role to grow and to take on additional responsibilities once trust with the Principal is established.

Candidate Specification:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong proactive communication, ensuring Principal and wider family are kept informed of key updates without prompting
  • Previous experience of finance administration (essential)
  • Previous experience of negotiating / choosing contracts (essential)
  • Excellent experience of using Excel or other tracking software / systems (essential)
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-volume role.

Additional Information:

  • Salary circa £50-70K depending on experience and the business offer additional benefits including a discretionary bonus
  • Role is fully office-based at the central London location (closest station Bond Street)
  • Hours are 9am - 5:30pm, with some flexibility required.
