Job summary

Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Financial Accounts Officer to support the Financial Accounts Team. The role covers processing financial information, preparing journals and reconciliations, and assisting with month-end and year-end activities.

The post is a full-time 37.5-hour fixed-term maternity cover. Training and development opportunities, flexible working where possible, and access to NHS benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Experience with computerised ledger systems.
• Knowledge of NHS finance would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Process financial information accurately and promptly, including Non-PO invoices and payment requests.
• Prepare and input monthly accruals, adjustments and prepayments to support reporting.
• Maintain accounting records in Unit4 and supporting spreadsheets.
