This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance/Accounts clerk to join a worldwide company at their new offices in Nuneaton. This will be a full time, permanent position with a salary max of £35,000.

The Finance and Accounts Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records. This role plays a key part in supporting financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and preparing key financial documentation to assist in internal and external reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
Lead and support monthly financial closing activities.
Post general ledger entries, including accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reclassifications.
Assist in managing intercompany accounting transactions.
Prepare and maintain supporting documentation for all balance sheet reconciliations.
Identify and resolve issues related to internal financial controls.
Assist with the preparation of VAT returns and schedules for review and submission.
Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and applicable external regulations.

Qualifications:
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Previous experience in an accounting or finance role is essential—preferably within an international or multi-entity environment.
Proficiency with accounting software SAP and Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Strong organisational and documentation skills.
Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
