Job summary

Mane Contract Services is seeking an experienced aerospace final assembly technician to join a leading cabin interiors team in the UK. You will assemble and fit monuments, bulkheads and dividers to engineering drawings, ensuring premium quality and precision.

Working with composites, aluminium and engineered plastics, you will perform drilling, riveting, bonding, sealing, trimming and torquing, while maintaining build records and supporting production targets with Engineering and Quality teams.

Qualifications

  • Experience in aerospace final assembly or cabin interiors.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and follow work instructions.
  • Skilled with hand and power tools.

Job description

You'll assemble and install premium aircraft cabin monuments, including bulkheads, wardrobes, stowages, and class dividers, ensuring exceptional quality and precision.

What you'll do:
  • Assemble and fit aircraft cabin monuments to engineering drawings
  • Carry out drilling, riveting, bonding, sealing, trimming, and torquing
  • Work with composites, aluminium, and engineered plastics
  • Complete quality inspections and maintain accurate build records
  • Work closely with Engineering and Quality teams to meet production targets
What we're looking for:
  • Experience in aerospace final assembly or cabin interiors
  • Ability to read technical drawings and follow work instructions
  • Skilled with hand and power tools
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Team player who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Desirable:
  • Experience with Airbus or Boeing programmes
  • Monuments/cabin interiors experience
  • NVQ Level 3 or apprenticeship in Aerospace Engineering (or similar)
