Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a flagship film-studio development near Borehamwood. You will take ownership of a 10 million structural steel package and transition into the fit-out phase with continuity across the project.

Ideal candidates will have a main contractor background, experience with Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractors, and a track record of delivering large-scale, complex construction projects on time and to budget.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing significant structural/steel packages.
• Strong main-contractor site management experience.
• Excellent subcontractor management and coordination skills.
• A strong understanding of programme, quality and health & safety.
• The confidence to manage complex construction activities and multiple stakeholders.
• Experience delivering large-scale commercial, industrial, technically complex or high-profile projects.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the delivery of a 10m structural steel package.
• Manage subcontractors, labour, materials and day-to-day site activities.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, to programme, budget and the required quality standards.
• Coordinate closely with the Project Manager, engineers, designers and wider project team.
• Manage interfaces between trades and resolve construction issues proactively.
• Lead site operations and maintain high standards of health & safety and quality.
