Williams Lea is looking for a Film & Photography Technician to join our team!

Are you a proactive, skilled visual storyteller with strong experience in filming, photography, and post-production? Are you fluent in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, and audio editing tools? Are you looking for an opportunity to produce impactful digital media for a global professional services brand?

We’re looking for a mid-level Film and Photography Technician to join our Creative UK team working on-site with EY — a fast-paced, collaborative studio producing corporate video, photography, and motion graphics across a wide range of briefs.

About the Role

As a Film and Photography Technician, you’ll join a cross-disciplinary creative team supporting EY’s internal and external media needs — including events, campaigns, interviews, training videos, and digital content.

You’ll be responsible for end-to-end video and photo production: from creative brief, pre-production planning, through to filming, editing, and final delivery. You’ll work on a mix of studio, on-location, and remote shoots, often juggling multiple briefs with tight turnarounds.

The role demands creative thinking, technical confidence, and strong project ownership, while delivering high-quality work within brand and corporate standards.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video and photography for internal and external communications, events, training, and digital campaigns

Deliver complete media packages including video, audio, motion graphics, and stills for corporate use

Manage on-location, studio-based, and remote shoots, including lighting, camera operation, and sound recording

Produce voiceovers, audio edits, and final mixes

Lead or contribute to creative ideation, including treatments and mood boards in response to briefs

Maintain consistent file management, metadata standards, and version control throughout the post-production process

Work flexibly, including occasional early starts, late finishes, or overseas/overnight shoots based on project needs

Collaborate with the Creative UK team to push creative standards and explore new tools and technologies

Maintain a strong understanding of client brand guidelines and ensure compliance across all deliverables

What Makes an Ideal Candidate?

You're someone who:

Has 5+ years of hands-on experience in film, photography, and editing — both in studio and on location

Brings a keen visual eye, good storytelling instincts, and technical expertise across the full production pipeline

Is confident working under pressure, managing multiple deadlines, and communicating clearly with stakeholders

Can balance creativity with corporate standards, and is comfortable navigating large, structured organisations

Enjoys solving problems, finding efficiencies, and continually improving your creative craft

Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom)

Strong filming skills: camera operation, lighting setup, sound recording, and gimbal use

Demonstrated experience in editing and post-production workflows

Familiarity with a range of video formats, codecs, and delivery specifications

Experience in flash photography, event photography, and corporate headshots

Excellent time management, project tracking, and ability to interpret creative briefs

Clear written and verbal communication, with strong client interaction skills

Experience with audio mixing and voiceover editing

Background in video production management or studio coordination

Relevant degree or certification in Film, Media, or a related field

Personal Attributes

Proactive and solutions-focused.

Calm under pressure with strong interpersonal skills.

Highly organised and detail-oriented.

Collaborative, professional, and team-spirited.

Resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
