Bard is seeking a dedicated operator to support legacy Filling & Packaging lines during the Expansion Training Workstream in Cambridge. The role focuses on maintaining compliance, quality, and continuity of supply as permanent staff transition to expansion assets.
You will assist with line set-up, start-up, and changeovers, ensuring accurate batch documentation and adherence to SOPs while upholding GMP standards and strict HS&E requirements.
This is a fixed-term, project-linked role created solely to maintain continuity of routine supply on Bard's existing (legacy) Filling & Packaging lines while permanent operators are released to act as workplace trainers and trainees for the new expansion assets (Lines 24, 25, 26 and associated equipment). The role exists only for the duration of the Expansion Training Workstream and will conclude when that workstream is complete. The post-holder supports the safe, efficient and compliant operation of legacy packaging lines only, ensuring accurate packaging of Bard's commercial products to approved specifications, SOPs and GMP, so that customer supply is protected during the transition. The post-holder will not be trained, qualified, deployed or scheduled on any new expansion line or asset.
This role is wholly and exclusively connected to the F&P Expansion Training Workstream. It is not a permanent operator role and is not part of the routine, ongoing F&P operator establishment. The contract will terminate on completion of the Expansion Training Workstream (indicatively up to 24 months). Completion of that workstream is the specific event/task on which the fixed term ends. The post-holder will not be trained, assessed, qualified or rostered on the new expansion lines/assets (L24, L25, L26 or related equipment); their scope is confined to designated legacy lines for the transition period.
