Job summary

Danone in the United Kingdom is seeking a Production Filling Operator to maintain safe, efficient production and ensure food safety and quality. You will stage materials for the filler, record production statistics and monitor equipment throughout the shift.

You will work to tight schedules, demonstrate strong communication, and be comfortable with nights and weekends. The role involves operating the filling line and collaborating with other production functions to meet KPIs.

Qualifications

• GCSE standard or equivalent.
• Written and verbal English communication.
• Experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Awareness of food allergen and basic food hygiene.

• Flexible to shift work including nights and weekends.

The function of a Production Filling Operator is to maintain the production process, so work continues in a safe and productive manner and maintaining food safety and quality. These duties include staging materials for filler, recording production statistics, monitoring equipment operation; oversee the production line and record accurate information on a daily basis.

You will be able to work using your own initiative, have the ability to prioritise and think ahead with strong communication skills and be able to solve technical and complex problems.

The following qualifications/skills are required:

• GCSE standard or equivalent
• Be able to communicate in written and verbal English
• Experience of working in a food manufacturing environment
• Have an awareness of food allergen & basic food hygiene
• Working knowledge of IT systems such as MS Office
• Be available and fit for shift work, including nights and weekends
