Location: Milton Keynes
Duration: 6 months initially
Rate: Up to £17.08 PAYE

Job Overview

We have an opportunity for a Production Technician to join our Filling and Packing team within our company. The successful candidate will work with the team to ensure accurate and timely packing of products for dispatch to customers, with attention to detail being critical.

All work must be performed in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Responsibilities

1. Printing, picking, and preparing production packaging.
2. Packing products in accordance with the schedule.
3. Setting up and using filling and labeling machines, including routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
4. Accurate record keeping and documentation.
5. Supporting GMP production environments with inspection and preparation of vaccine products.
6. General housekeeping and cleaning of production areas.
7. Input into department schedule.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential

• Good standard of education, GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English.
• Excellent attention to detail and a willingness to learn new skills.
• Safety-conscious mindset: awareness and understanding of Health and Safety practices; willingness to learn and apply safe working practices; ability to raise safety concerns and support continuous improvement activities.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work to deadlines.
• Good record-keeping skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Excel.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including repetitive lifting of items up to 5kg and occasional lifting of items up to 30kg.

Desirable

• Experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment, production, packing, or warehouse.
• Full UK driving license.
