Job summary

Princes is seeking a Filler Operative to run a filler line, ensuring finished cartons meet quality standards while minimising waste and maximising machine efficiency. The role involves three shift working within the Production department and requires routine checks to defined schedules.

You will be proficient in cleaning, operating and maintaining the filler, and must follow health and safety, hygiene and PPE requirements to support site delivery and Technical teams.

Qualifications

• Be proficient in cleaning, operating and carrying out operator maintenance of the filler.
• Be literate and numerate so checks can be carried out and recorded accurately.

Responsibilities

• Ensure filler cleaning, CIP and sterilisation are carried out correctly.
• Carry out all filler checks and production checks and document them.
• Keep the filler area clean and minimise wastage.
• Ensure correct packaging is used and carton coding is accurate.
• Communicate issues to the Team Leader and align with production plans.
• Oversee servicing and maintenance of the machine per requirements.
• Observe health and safety rules and report accidents/near misses.
• Make sure PPE is worn and stored correctly.
• Perform other duties as required by Production Management.
