Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Service Engineer (Workshop/Field Based) in Plymouth. You will receive training on specialist machinery, and work with blue-chip clients while enjoying door-to-door pay and opportunities to travel nationally and overseas.

Half of the time is workshop-based, with the remainder spent visiting customer sites to install, commission, service and fault-find on sophisticated manufacturing equipment.

Formación

• Experience in mechanical engineering per the role description.
• Willingness to travel nationally and overseas.
• Background suitable for commissioning, servicing and fault finding on specialist machinery.

Do you have a background in Mechanical Engineering? Are you looking for a role offering training on specialist machinery to upskill you and develop your career in a new industry, working with a range of blue-chip clients, while being paid door-to-door and having the opportunity to travel nationally and overseas to countries such as America, Turkey, South Africa, India, and more?

On offer is the opportunity to join an industry leading specialist engineering company who supply automated machinery, equipment and process solutions for the manufacturing industry. The company works with a range of blue-chip clients internationally such as Mclaren, Boeing, Rolls Royce and more across multiple sectors including marine, aerospace, energy and more.

In this role, 50% of your time will be spent working from the workshop, with the remaining time split between national and international travel to customer sites. You will receive training on the company’s specialist equipment and processes, before carrying out commissioning, installations, servicing, maintenance, and fault finding on composite manufacturing equipment.

This role would suit an engineer from a mechanical background, looking to work for an established engineering company providing training, paid travel and expenses and the opportunity to work for a range of blue chip clients.
