Job summary

Our client, a growing domestic appliance repair company covering the BN postcode area, is seeking an experienced Domestic Appliance Engineer to visit customers in homes, diagnose faults and perform high-quality repairs.

You'll work Monday to Friday 8:30am–5:30pm, with a salary of £34,000–£38,000 per year plus a bonus after probation, company van and fuel provided, and ongoing training with career progression opportunities, including potential area management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Domestic Appliance Engineer or White Goods Engineer.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across domestic appliances.
• Experience repairing washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers and refrigerators.
• Able to work independently in customer homes with excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults across a range of domestic appliances.
• Service and repair washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers and refrigerators.
• Visit customer properties within the BN postcode area.
• Identify mechanical and electrical faults and carry out appropriate repairs.
• Provide a professional, reliable customer service.
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Attend regular technical training to develop skills and product knowledge.
• Manage daily workload and customer appointments independently.
