Attega Group requires a Water Treatment Engineer to service water systems across commercial and industrial sites in the Birmingham area. The role focuses on cooling towers, water quality testing and chemical dosing, ensuring safety and efficiency in line with industry standards.

The successful candidate will monitor water chemistry, perform sampling and dosing, and maintain documentation. A full UK driving licence is essential, and the role offers a full-time, permanent, field-based position

Qualifications

• Experience in water treatment, cooling towers and water quality testing.
• Knowledge of pH, conductivity and chemical levels.
• Familiar with TMV servicing and water hygiene checks.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine water treatment maintenance and servicing across commercial and industrial sites.
• Work on cooling towers and ensure systems operate efficiently.
• Conduct water sampling, testing and analysis.
• Monitor chemical levels, pH, conductivity and other water quality parameters.
• Carry out chemical dosing and replenishment where required.
• Inspect cooling tower systems and identify potential issues.
• Control risks of scale, corrosion and microbiological growth.
• Clean, flush and maintain water treatment systems.
• Perform TMV servicing, testing and maintenance.
• Undertake water hygiene checks and temperature monitoring.
• Identify faults and carry out remedial work.
• Complete service reports and ensure documentation is up to date.
