Job summary

Thames Water is seeking a Customer Water Quality Officer to join the frontline and act as the face of the company for customers. You will travel across a wide area, test water samples, and maintain sampling records to the highest industry standards.

The role involves visiting residential and commercial properties, supporting investigations into supply issues and complaints, and working as part of a supportive team. Training and a clear career path are provided.

Qualifications

• A clean, manual UK driving licence.
• Experience in a role that involves driving and direct customer work.
• Comfortable with unplanned visits to residential and commercial properties.
• Good journey planning skills to ensure you work efficiently.
• Organised and able to work independently.
• An interest in the water industry with willingness to learn.
• Good computer skills with everyday IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Test water samples and maintain sampling records and equipment to industry standards.
• Travel between customer locations and Thames Water sites as part of a busy team.
• Support investigations into supply issues and customer complaints, helping to resolve problems quickly and professionally.
