We are currently recruiting for a Field Visual Merchandiser (Northern) to support our stores based in the North of the UK and Ireland.

The Space NK Visual Merchandising team are looking for a Field Visual Merchandiser to join the team to help with the growing responsibilities within the team and business. As a Field Visual Merchandiser, they will be a store-based member of the VM team and will be visiting stores on a rotational basis. They are responsible for upholding VM guidelines and standards, providing training when needed, and to deliver clear, consistent communication while in store to maintain the brands values and luxury retail environment.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Visual Merchandising

  1. Supporting the VM Coordinator to communicate to stores through Visual Merchandising packs and visits. Ensure the consistency of presentation and visual direction in all stores.
  2. In partnership with the Regional Team support the execution of visual merchandising, windows, signage standards, fixture placement, and product placement.

Store Refit/New Store Openings

  1. Attend and assist on new store set ups, if required.

Stores

  1. Travel countrywide to stores across estate, to support the needs of the business.
  2. Maintain a positive relationship with store teams.
  3. Responsible for communicating and reiterating recent VM updates & requests.
  4. Facilitate RM and SM focused training on visual standards, product flow etc, if requested.
  5. Assist stores with floor layout questions & any other requests.

Additional Responsibilities

  1. On occasion attend the Capper St office (in London) for touch-base meetings with VM Coordinator, VM Manager & wider VM team.
  2. Work efficiently and independently from stores. Responding in a timely manner.
  3. Provide additional support to the Regional Managers to deliver in store visual standards across the portfolio.
  4. Support VM Coordinator with creating guidelines, if requested.
  5. Update store information and communication PowerPoint slides.
  6. Additional ad hoc projects.

SPECIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  1. 1-2 years of retail field experience
  2. 1-2 years of visual merchandising experience, within cosmetics is desirable.
  3. Willing to travel across the UK and Ireland (possible overnight stays and late nights to meet the needs of the business).
  4. Strong organisational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  5. A confident team player and comfortable working within pressurised situations.
  6. Ability to work in a fast paced and ever-changing environment.
  7. Proactive, resourceful, and practical.
  8. Excellent communication and collaborative skills required for liaising with the support team, store teams and our customers.
  9. Flexible and willingness to work late and undertake physical work required to prepare events in offsite locations.
  10. The ability to build professional working relationships.
  11. Working knowledge in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
