Job summary

Synopsys Inc. is seeking an experienced test and validation engineer for field support of HAV hardware. You will install hardware at customer sites worldwide, work with hardware engineering and manufacturing to analyze failures, and provide technical guidance to customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in test and validation engineering or similar.
• Solid Linux experience and scripting in Bash and tcsh.
• Experience installing and maintaining hardware at customer sites.
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Install Synopsys hardware at customer sites worldwide.
• Collaborate with hardware engineering and manufacturing to diagnose failures.
• Maintain accurate data on hardware activities and provide reports.
• Review production processes with manufacturing to ensure quality.
• Assemble boards into complete systems, wire cabling, and mount parts.
• Provide technical support to customers to improve usability.
