SSE plc is seeking a Mobile Utility Arborist to join our field-based team. Based within 30 minutes of our Petersfield/Aldershot/Basingstoke depot, you will manage trees and vegetation near our distribution network, cutting and pruning to keep networks safe and reliable.

Work as part of a planned programme with routine maintenance and outage support during severe weather. Travel is required, and a valid driving licence is essential.

Competenze

• Experience in forestry/arboriculture and vegetation management.
• Experience working near power lines is advantageous.
• Strong safety focus and adherence to guidelines.

Mansioni

• Manage trees/vegetation near the distribution network and ensure work is safe and on schedule.
• Assist with planning and executing tree-cutting operations across sites and environments.
• Travel to various sites; maintain high safety standards and respond to weather-related outages.
