Your Job:

Truck & Trailer Mechanics/Technicians interact constantly with customers. As front-line employees, you must always represent TLNW professionally and take ownership of your work.

Your Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot problems on trailers
• Perform repairs on trailers using hand and power tools
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance
• Perform DOT inspections
• Repair lift gates, refer units, and brakes
• Protect the TLNW organization’s reputation and values
• Perform other duties as requested

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• High School Diploma (required)
• Previous mechanical experience or technical school
• Over one year of trailer repair experience
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, with the ability to shift priorities in a changing environment (required)

• Valid Driver's License / Clean Driving Record
• Professionalism and diplomacy to approach others and manage emotional or ambiguous situations with clarity and self-control

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:

The physical demands described are representative of those necessary for the Truck & Trailer Mechanic/Technician to perform essential functions. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception, as well as the ability to adjust focus. May require sitting for long periods, lifting and moving up to 75 lbs occasionally, walking on concrete floors, and full-body motion for climbing, pushing, lifting, and reaching.

Shifts: M-F, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm (hours may vary due to workload)
